Valley Jam Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: April 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for the Valley Jam 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament, you agree to be bound by these terms. If registering for a team or minor, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind them.

2. Tournament Eligibility
• Registration: All teams must pay fees by the deadline to participate.

• Brackets: Valley Jam reserves the right to reassign teams to ensure fair play.

• Identification: Proof of age may be required at check-in.

3. Player Conduct
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for violence, verbal abuse, or illegal substance use. Violators will be disqualified and removed without refund.

4. Liability Waiver
WARNING: Participation involves inherent risks. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks and release Valley Jam, its sponsors (including California Thrift), and the City of Visalia from any liability for injury or property damage.

5. Medical Authorization
You authorize Valley Jam staff to seek emergency medical treatment if necessary. You are responsible for any costs incurred for care and transportation.

6. Media Release
You grant Valley Jam the right to use your likeness and voice in photos or videos for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

7. Rules of Play
The tournament follows a 3-on-3 format. Official decisions made by referees are final.

8. Refunds and Cancellations
All registration fees are non-refundable. In the event of extreme weather, the tournament may be rescheduled or canceled at the organizers' discretion.

9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
